We were in the area and wanted to try a new Asian spot, so we stopped by Genghis Grill. At first, we weren’t sure how ordering worked—it looked like you stand in line to order (similar to Panda or Chipotle) and then sit down. However, they also offer table service, as well as the option to go up to the counter and build your own bowl. Our server explained everything as we entered the line, and we chose table service instead. We started with a few appetizers: • Egg rolls (2 for $3) • Chicken potstickers • Edamame with citrus garlic (ordered spicy), which was tasty and we enjoyed. For lunch, we ordered: • A Chef Bowl with sesame chicken (the menu stated the chicken was crispy and breaded, but ours had no breading) • Jambalaya fried rice • Value Bowl with Dragon Fire Shrimp Overall, most of the food was okay but a bit one-dimensional in flavor. It was fine for a first-time visit. The restaurant was relatively empty with only three tables occupied, so the server checked on us several times. I’m not sure if we’ll be back, though—nothing really stood out enough to make it memorable.

Great interactive experience with a build-your-own bowl concept — choose from lots of fresh proteins and veggies and have it wok-grilled to order. Flavors were bold and satisfying, though service and wait times varied. Portion sizes was great. Staff was great specially Jen!

This is my second time here and both times the service was amazing. We had the same waitress both times and she was very attentive, kind, and positive attitude. Always had a smile on her face. The food is so good and the price is right.
